Hi Diana, The problem you are seeing with duplicate albums doesn't happen for everyone - I use MIP 1.7 and 6.5.1 and have an entry in both the SS Music Folder and a Playlist Folder with no problems.
I can't remember if you are storing your music somewhere seperate from the box that slimserver runs on - like an external hard drive ? If so, that could be the source of the duplicate albums - MIP sees the path one way (M:\) and Slimserver another ( //Media/Music). If that's similar to your set up, I think there may be a way around this - because you can mount the directory in MIP, which may well let MIP see the folder in the same the same way that Slimserver sees the Music Library. But back onto your immediate issue - why don't you create a blank folder for Playlists - somewhere entirely outside of the directory where your music is stored ? If you specify that folder for playlists in Slimserver, that would allow you save in Fishbone, without giving you the problems with duplicate albums on a rescan.
