Sadly that's what I get now. A second or so OK, then pure white noise
(unlike before when some music was apparent).

I use a different tool (gupnp-tools on ubuntu) but get the same
information that you have.

Thanks. I get that with normal logging (no additional info) - is that
the default parameter anyway when run under LMS?

All the changes do help. Thanks.   In principle testing stuff helps
distract me, but sometimes my brain fades. Please ignore my more extreme

Alternatively Minimserver & Upplay to same & to upmpdcli/mpd PC
renderers.  
Squeezelite to Meridian USB Explorer DAC to PC speakers/headphones.  
Wireless Xubuntu 17.10 laptop firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with
Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver.
