Yes, I don't do pairing *EXCEPT* for AppleTV. So far, no other device
requires pairing and if the Denon does, it is defintively a change in
its config! Are you *absolutely* sure that you did not enable
pairing/authentication (for some security reason)? This became mandatory
with AppleTV starting tvOS 10.4 I think and caused me a lot of grief
