why picoreplayer? I wouldn't use the box to play music, just serve it.
pCP is the simplest and quickest way to get not only a player up and running, but a server, too. I do this myself at the office, where pCP is a pure server installation, serving a Transporter.
I know, the name is misleading. I already had suggested to do a piCoreServer version, too :-)...
