When I stated player-specific, this was in reference to the checkboxes.
-Server Settings > Player > Additional Browse Modes.- The extended modes
(where you set the name, list type, genre, etc) are global (i.e. for all
players).
I have now, for 0.0.8, added a check to see if the plugin is enabled
before getting its list of modes.
I know that you don't want to implement SlimBrowse for the music menus.
But you could still take the result of the "menus" query to figure out
which browse modes the user had configured. No messing with settings,
plugins etc. Just use what LMS is telling you anyway?
