Another somewhat exotic use case where the Material skin comes in very handy. I do have a LMS integration with 'Dash' (https://kapeli.com/dash), which allows me to quickly search for artists, albums etc. with only a few key strokes. I now added a special handler which would bring up the Material skin player control with only 3-4 keystrokes, no matter what application I'm currently in :-)
