I've seen this with other users - the akamai CDN seems to be better at blocking VPNs than Limelight.

Direct strreaming means natively playing http/MP3, AAC and WMA only stream from the player bypassing LMS. The BBC DASH and HLS streams are totally handled in LMS so this setting has no effect. Also LMS checks a stream before telling a player - so inital DNS lookup is done by LMS (it's why mysqueezebox.com fails to play UK only stream for UK users as mysb servers are not in UK). > Also, I still don't understand why my old configuration was working fine > with 1.6.0, but with 1.6.1 it doesn't ....! I really don't know as nothing has changed in the initial URLs. I kknow that HLS stream handling have been changed by BBC recently and you had HLS as 1st preference so perhaps bad timing. A mystery but not worth actively wasting more time on now you have a fix. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
