PS the "slow" instance is in France while the "fast" instance is in the UK; I don't believe that should make a difference (the Fire stick is in France too!) but thought I should mention it.
The country itself wouldn't make any difference. But it's two different Docker hosts, two different networks (router, firewall etc.), two different ISPs. That's already a lot of variables. Docker itself has proved to be challenging to Spotty, as IIRC it would block some network traffic unless configured correctly. Would LMS in both cases be able to access eg. internet radio?
In any case: enable INFO logging for plugin.spotty (Settings/Advanced/Logging) and tell us what that gives in server.log when you try to authenticate.
