Hi all,
I have spent hours on browsing this thread and others without finding a solution, so I hope someone can help me here. I just replaced my old Synology DS111 NAS that was running LMS with Local Player plugin just fine with a new Synology DS716+II. No I am not able to start the plugin at all. I have installed the official Synology LMS, then the Synology Beta 7.9.1, then the 7.9.2.-168.0016 from Pinkdot. No change. There is nothing useful in any logs. Local player log: Starting Squeezelite: /volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/LocalPlayer/Bin/squeezelite-x86-64 -d all=debug -f /volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/Logs/localplayer.log Server log: [19-02-11 14:09:53.7974] main::init (387) Starting Logitech Media Server (v7.9.2, 0016.1545144292, Tue Dec 18 16:23:55 CET 2018) perl 5.024000 - x86_64-linux Trying to start the binary from command line as admin: /volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/LocalPlayer/Bin/squeezelite-x86-64: error while loading shared libraries: libasound.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory So, what is that libasound.so.2 it seems to need, and how do I install that?
