Yes, I sent the update time to 5 minutes, but after waiting all night after a reboot, the SDT custom cLock never displayed any data. But if I run the SDT app just once the custom clock works just fine and updates as expected. It's as if there's no data until the SDT app is run manually for the first time.
Where in the logs should I look to see what's happening behind the scenes?
