Delay should be necessary for any Linux system unless very lower power single core system - even my PI 1 B worked with no delay.
404 means URLs not found so plugin seems to be trying to get a an URL which is not avai;able· Did this 404 error happen when you were on 1.6.3 ? Are you on V 1.6.3 ?
