Starting a new thread as Im not sure where the issue lies. I have been experimenting a bit with AirPlay on my Sky Q box both with pippins ipeng and phillipes airplaybridge.
In both cases local files work exactly as youd expect with correct(ish) track duration countdown and cover art. However when it comes to tracks from Spotty neither method displays cover art. Track duration is OK. In the case of Radio Paradise track duration is all over the place but that is perhaps to be expected and cover art sticks on the first track played but the rest of the metadata is correct. On the ithingy being used as player/controller and indeed on anything else with a display that may been synced all is good. Leaving aside RP which is a bit of an oddity what is the difference between local cover art and Spotty cover art so far as AirPlay is concerned? Is it that LMS does not pass on a readable location? Anyone know the answer or better still a solution?
