I can't offer specific advice on those versions, so some general advice will have to do.
1. AlienBBC makes use of an app socketwrapper so make sure socketwrapper.exe is a trusted network app by the firewall and can do any networking. 2. If the security app is blocking socketwrapper - there is a version of socketwrapper which is more acceptable to security s/w. You can try it by downloading it, unzip it and replace the socketwrapper.exe in the Slimserver/Bin directory. http://homepage.eircom.net/~altondsl/slim/socketwrapper_0.12_20060220.zip you can see it referencen on the AlienBBC wesite. http://www.x2systems.com/alienbbc/faq.html If the above steps do not help - then the problem may be elsewhere - such as network timeout.
