First, I totally understand your position, and continue to appreciate your efforts in general, and certainly could live without iphone drag and drop. And, btw, I mistyped. I'm running IOS 12.2. The fact that Apple does not, by default, support HTML5 Standards is disturbing. I have done some investigating, and IOS on ipad and iphone have different defaults. I'll investigate further, but this is documented here, from stack exchange https://stackoverflow.com/questions/46392359/how-to-get-ios-11-drag-and-drop-working-on-the-iphone. It assumes you are programming in Swift, so probably of little help.
