If it does not whine the 2nd time, then it means that the config file exists. It has to be hidden one way or the other by your Windows. Believe me, the code is pretty simple around that part. Now, it it crashes after discovering the 1st player, maybe there is something here. Can you try to disable that player (unplug it) and see how it goes?
