Its -just- an alternative to the default web interface - i.e. the one you use to configure LMS, install plugins, etc. It can't do all the configuring, some but not all, and is aimed more at playback control. In a way its sort-of like SqueezeCtrl, but there is no app to install. You can (under Android at least) get Chrome to add it to the homescreen, then it functions in more of an app-like manner. As to accessing your collection outside of your network, that is up to how you configure your LMS setup. But if you did this, you would be allowing others outside of your home to control the players in your home. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
