FWIW, I don't think the original author has been around for a long time. For awhile at least. Kevin was keeping it updated for new slimserver releases. In recent years, Tom Malsbury adopted it and made some minor changes. The last I checked he was hosting his version 0.42b at http://www.malsbury.net/~slim/. That page is now dead so the plugin may be looking for a new owner once again.
