If you skim through this thread a few pages back, you'll see that both Michael and Pierre have been looking at these problems, but it appears they'll need some cooperation with Bill on at least some aspects. I would hope that this may get more attention now that there is another big third-party app/plugin out there, for Bluesound, as I've seen a report on the RP forum from a Bluesound owner about the same sort of stuttering, though not yet the skipping forward to a new block. I'm a paying supporter but I am inclined to cut them some slack. Bill is very occupied with ramping up the new FLAC internet radio stream, which by the way has been very popular with the Roon folks and the general internet radio-listening public, and also last week they had a big server outage on the one day he tried to take some well-deserved time off.
