I've a network of three Squeezebox Receivers, one Squeezebox Radio, plus three iOS devices I use with iPeng Playback enabled. I also use Spotty to enable playback from Spotify. When playing from My Music from my Media Server, I can synchronise the four SqueezeBox devices with iPeng Playback. When playing from Spotify (either the Spotty plug-in or via the Spotify App), I can synchronise the four SqueezeBox devices (iPeng is turned off). When trying to synchronise Spotty with iPeng Playback enabled, I get the error "Waiting to sync..." shown on the Squeezebox Radio screen. When I try to playback using Spotty through iPeng with iPeng un-synched from the other Squezebox devices it doesn't work.
