I just released the first version of BlankSaver, a screensaver that simply makes your player screen go completely dark. I developed this to use as a "Manual" option for SaverSwitcher, so I can easily press one button on the remote to temporarily make the screen go dark. http://www.tux.org/~peterw/slim/BlankSaver.html
