Hi Michael, Thanks for the tip. I renamed the Zlib.pm file and Spotty installed!
I'm now running LMS 7.9.2 and Spotty is "sort of" working... that's progress. I think if I can get all this working properly I will write up everything I've done to help others on the same platform. Authorisation went ok but every time I go an select something on Spotty's menu each operation takes at least -30 seconds- to do anything - or doesn't do anything at all sometimes. I feel I'm getting there now as I *have had* Spotty playing something. Search yields NO results at all. It doesn't do anything. Albums are empty (but that could be because I can't search for something and then put it in there). I have these type of errors in the server log: [19-06-30 18:54:31.2342] Plugins::Spotty::API::__ANON__ (1482) API call: browse/featured-playlists?country=MT&limit=50&locale=en_US×tamp=2019-06-30T18%3A50%3A00 [19-06-30 18:54:31.2360] Plugins::Spotty::API::__ANON__ (1486) error: Connect timed out: No route to host [19-06-30 18:54:35.3920] Slim::Networking::Async::connect (114) Failed to connect to api.spotify.com:443, because Net::HTTP: connect: No route to host [19-06-30 18:54:35.3959] Plugins::Spotty::API::__ANON__ (1482) API call: browse/featured-playlists?country=MT&limit=50&locale=en_US×tamp=2019-06-30T18%3A50%3A00 [19-06-30 18:54:35.3976] Plugins::Spotty::API::__ANON__ (1486) error: Connect timed out: No route to host [19-06-30 18:55:31.7074] Slim::Networking::Async::connect (114) Failed to connect to api.spotify.com:443, because Net::HTTP: connect: No route to host [19-06-30 18:55:31.7096] Plugins::Spotty::API::__ANON__ (1482) API call: browse/featured-playlists?country=MT&limit=50&locale=en_US×tamp=2019-06-30T18%3A50%3A00 [19-06-30 18:55:31.7113] Plugins::Spotty::API::__ANON__ (1486) error: Connect timed out: No route to host [19-06-30 18:59:38.9002] Slim::Networking::SqueezeNetwork::Players::_players_error (378) Unable to get players from SN: Connect timed out: , retrying in 86400 seconds [19-06-30 19:04:25.8825] main::init (387) Starting Logitech Media Server (v7.9.2, 1560587554, Sat Jun 15 10:49:58 CEST 2019) perl 5.020002 - arm-linux-gnueabi-thread-multi-64int [19-06-30 19:04:25.9476] main::changeEffectiveUserAndGroup (1004) Warning: Logitech Media Server must not be run as root!
