My reasoning is more to do with the fairly frequent failure of ChartLyrics.com rather than the need to have lyrics for everything. I just find it annoying when I flip to lyrics for a well known song and there is nothing available because ChartLyrics is having an off day.
Do you still experience frequent issues with lyrics? I added AZLyrics as a second source a while back, which should help a bit (they have different weak spots in their data...).
