Craig, an idea for streamlining the browse pane...
With a bit of experimenting with your code in browse-page.js, I came up with an example where there are no tree headers. In this example, the collapse-able tree headers are gone and pinned items just appear at the top. Clicking on "My Music" drills into the available categories. Just an idea, for your consideration.
