I understand - it's just that DASH protocol "timeShiftBuffer"says the player can only go back 6 hours - how is the player to know that this is a "BBC special" version of DASH and it should ignore the protocol and goto BBC's own home brew metadata feed instead. IT would be better for BBC to set the setting correctly.
