I just re-read your post, and I had missed a part of your explanation. OK, so it seems that your LMS is set up to use 9002 for the CLI interface, so you would set that up in SLX to match, and I assume that is what you have done. But for some reason, you are not receiving telnet message from the server and I do not know why. I wish I could be more help.
