May be a little of both. When SLX gets the message that Windows is
going to sleep, it goes ahead and terminates squeezelite-win.exe running
under the covers. The server does not immediately forget the player,
however. The server will remember the player for 5 minutes. If the
player shows back up within 5 minutes, then it will continue what it was
doing. When SLX gets the message Windows is resuming from sleep, it
restarts squeezelite. So if, if less than 5 minutes have passed and it
was playing, it will continue playing. If you sleep for longer than 5
minutes, then I suspect the player will not continue playing after
waking.

All that said, if you paused it before sleep, seems like it should be on
pause when you wake up. That is behavior I see with other sources. I
don't use RP.
