All references to "radio" has to removed and the Sounds app remembers a user preferences, Favorites, what been played etc. It is the "modern" way to make schedules irrelevant and let user to listen to what they want when they want. The iPlayer could do all of this but BBC make a mistake by having two apps and two sets of developers - clearly a waste of money.
