Very strange - nobody else has ever reported that problem - either bad
download or something else is wrong in your systems.

No idea what this is about - mplayer has all the codecs it needs in the
single .exe file which you tested. It doesn't use anybody else's codec
for RealAudio.

The AlienBBC install only has perl files, support config files and
mplayer.exe. You have tested mplayer and all the rest seem OK so I
don't think an AlienBBC install is the issue. Socketwrapper is part of
slimserver.

I think you should get a log with d_source - if this shows an error
(100054 I think) then it points to the socketwrapper/ZoneAlarm issue or
something similar.
