Running material on my Android phone, connected to my LMS server via a VPN: it might be performing better now, but the bouncing still occurs occasionally. If it is under control then it should be fine; in the past I had seen it go crazy. Another related thing to this: using material/mobile, it is much easier to drag the volume control to a higher volume level, and conversely it is significantly harder to drag it to a lower volume. To lower the volume, I first start dragging up, and then reverse direction and go down.
