This appears to be an issue with the SSL option.
Please try the custom squeezelite build which has SSL support disabled.
Login to pcp and issue the commands in bold.

Then at the bottom of the pcp webgui squeezelite tab select the custom
squezelite button and click the *Set Binary* button.
Squeezelite should automatically restart using the custom squeezelite.
