Issue #1- I switched to the woodgrain skin, then clicked on the maximize button (by accident). Now the skin is bigger than the screen. The only way I can get out of it is to alt-tab, and close the Java window running SoftSqueeze. How do I get back to a small sized view so I can see the whole interface?
Issue #2- I posted this at the Sourceforge page for SoftSqueeze, but there doesn't seem to be much activity there, so I'll post here. When I get a solution, I'll post it there for others. Here's the issue: When I launch Softsqueeze, the player comes up and shows: Please wait, Connecting to Slim Server. Nothing else ever happens. Situation: Work machine: WinXPPro SP2 & latest patches Home Machine: WinXPPro SP@ & fairly recent patching Home network behind LinkSys WRT54G. Router is opened for slim.exe on ports 9000 & 3483 routed to the home machine running slimserver SlimServer Version: 6.5.1 - 11206 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252 Perl Version: 5.8.8 MSWin32-x86-multi-thread MySQL Version: 5.0.22-community-nt Softsqueeze v3.3 I've launched softsqueeze on the work machine from within the slimserver browser window & from a quick launch icon - neither works. I launched it from home on the server machine - it worked fine. I can connect from the work machine to the slimserver with windows media player & control the playlist with the browser - that works, but is laggy - it takes a long time for a song change on SS to make it through to the player. I did not attempt to connect from another machine within the home network via softsqueeze to slimserver - I will try that soon. Any tips, trick or suggestions to get past this basic stage would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
