I didn't mean to be harsh - re-reading what I wrote, my tone was a little strong towards the end there - apologies. It's not just eye candy, its about efficiency. I routinely search many items, and then want to delete many (15, 20, ...) of them later. A pop-up menu for these items saves a huge amount of round-trip mouse travel (10 - 12" per deletion x 15 to 20 items is a LOT of extra travel).
