I have it set on my SB Touch and if I remember correctly, it is also
available on the SB3 player, which I used to use before the Touch. This
feature is supposed to give "bit perfect" output. I don't believe
Android is capable of that, as I think it wants to resample everything
to 48 KHz, so I doubt it would be useful, if available, with SB Player.
