Just re-read the OP. If you are talking about doing this via Spotify connect then you cant. I am talking about using Spotty from within LMS. You find the track in Spotify and the do Add To using the Playlist Manager plugin. This works but a while later the playlist will have no cover art or meta data for Spotify tracks until you hit play.
