Hey there.

I recently got a squeezebox (back in January) and decided I'd like to
be able to control it without having to perform a context switch
outside of my trusty emacs, so I went to work.

squeeze.el is the result. Version 0.0.1 can be found here:
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/squeeze-el/squeeze-el-0.0.1.tar.gz

In it's current state it uses the network command line interface to the
slim server in order to give basic control over things like volume,
playing, pausing, stopping, turning on and off, and basic library
browsing to emacs. I think it requires a relatively recent version of
emacs to work properly...

(In addition to being a neophyte squeeze-boxer, I'm also a novice
elisper...)

Since I'm so new to the squeezebox, there's probably some killer
functionality that I haven't implemented yet, so please let me know
either here, or on the sf.net page (found here:
http://www.sf.net/projects/squeeze-el ).
