Today I re-enabled the skill. Fired up ngrok and started using the stream commands with a newly acquired Echo Flex that is paired with a set of in ceiling Bluetooth speakers in my newly refurbished bathroom. Nice! This works really well!!!
The only downside I can see that would stop me from buying higher end Alexa devices is the limitation that its stream.mp3 and not FLAC. As most Alexa devices dont have a display metadata isnt really an issue but now Im wondering would stream.flc be relatively easy to implement by someone such as Michael or Phillipe? If it was we would have virtually every modern player device covered for at least 16/44.1 FLAC VB2.4 STORAGE *QNAP TS419P (NFS) Living Room* - Joggler & SB3 -> Onkyo TS606 -> Celestion F20s *Office* - Pi3+Sreen -> Sony TAFE320 -> Celestion F10s / Pi2+DAC & SB3 -> Onkyo CRN755 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes *Dining Room* -> SB Boom *Kitchen* -> UE Radio (upgraded to SB Radio) *Bedroom (Bedside)* - Pi2+DAC ->ToppingTP21 ->AKG Headphones *Bedroom (TV)* - SB Touch ->Sherwood AVR ->Mordaunt Short M10s Everything controlled by iPeng ------------------------------------------------------------------------ d6jg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111016
