This is what I am doing ... I have an HDMI cable running from my server
to the TV. I run Material in full-screen mode on the TV, no URL
displayed. Control is done using a web app on my phone. With Material
v1.4, I have enabled the new screensaver option which comes on after the
playlists ends. The "endpoint" is an SB Touch. The Material skin has
been nothing short of transformative in my music setup, especially now
with online music service integration available in Slimserver v8.0.
