Sync algorithm are touchy things, especially as it would require modifying some of LMS's internals. I don't know if the best would be to create a "fake" player (like I did for my Groups plugin) and make it the master or a group or just let Shairtunes guide the modified sync directly, options would have to be explored so yes there is a fair bit of try and error involved. Remember as well that you need to start at the exact right time (as required by AirPlay) *and* maintain the sync per RTP's control, these are 2 different difficulties.
