Your Radio might be getting disconnected from time to time but automatically reconnecting, so you may not notice much. Thinking again I guess I could imagine a scenario in which a loss of connection could cause the UPnP plugin not to try and re-connect. Take a look at the user guide to see what options might be making that happen.
I have no experience of anything like this because I turn everything off when not using it, including wifi and network :-) LMS 7.9.3 on PC, Xubuntu 18.04, FLACs 16->24 bit, 44.1->192kbps. 2 Touchs & EDO. Squeezelite to Meridian USB Explorer DAC to PC speakers/headphones.
