Just to be sure I got that right: it does not work when you ask Shairtunes to re-encode in wav or it does not work when you try to play wav from LMS ? If the this is the former, it might be because brutfir is applied on the audio output of Shairtunes and wav files created on the fly are always problematic because there must be a header with the file size which of course does not exist when audio is being streamed from an airplay controller LMS 7.7, 7.8 and 7.9 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2.
