I'm working on an update to PlayHLS.
HLS can stream in a number of formats.
The update is in relation to MPEG2-TS which is the format used by the
above URL.
The update makes the MPEG2-TS implementation a bit more complete as
initial MPEG2-TS was based on iPlayer (i.e. BBC) limited implementation
of MPEG2-TS.
With earlier version the MPEG2-TS stream are sometimes choppy or even
stall. This is often due to a video content. The update now enables
stream with video (e.g. HLS TV news channels) to be played by ignoring
the video.

MPEG2-TS also support metadata in a PID. Your Finnish URL has the
"packetized metadata" stream present but it seems to be unused - this
seems to be "normal" with HLS MPEG2-TS stream.

The stream has made allownce for a PID for packetized metedata but there
seems tpo be no content.
