I'd then re-write your request to ask Craig to add a "Tune in to..." input field. It's more generic than Spotify only ;-)
Craig - in the default web UI we have, under the Radios menu, an item "Tune In to..." where one can paste a URI to be played. It simply does a "playlist play {URI}" (or "add" for the Add button).
It's handy to test a single file, or a remote stream you've found on the internet, or a Spotify item you've received the URI for. Would be great if you could add such an option to Material.
