In the player UI, it doesn't appear as a Plugin - its a Screensaver. Got to Settings - Screensavers - then select whichever mode you want it for (playing/stopped/off) then select it from the list of available screensavers.
BTW there is a later version than the one in the first post, 1.1 is available, look down the thread a bit.
