That option is hidden form the app. The app itself has a 'zoom' option - which should enlarge fonts an UI elements. IMHO, this is better than just having larger fonts - plus there are more sizes. In the app, open Material's settings page. There should be an icon that looks like to cogs, click on that and it will take you to the app settings. *Material debug:* 1.
