No need to be sorry.  There are now two offers on the table from
Michael (thank you) to provide a means to get you what you want.  The
most recent post would require you to modify the DateTime.pm file to
add the format you want to the "standard" list.

If you're running Windows I'm not sure if this will work if you are
using the default installation which runs off the compiled code,
however?

The easier workaround is the first one - you most certainly should have
a slimserver.pref file, if not there is something quite sick about your
installation!  Have a look in c:\Program files\slimserver\server.

Edit with WordPad rather than NotePad.

Change longdateFormat to "%A"
