Hmmm.... When checking a response is for the current request, I check the ID. When reading from the cache it has an old ID => response is ignored. I never saw this as I run Firefox in private mode, which cannot save the cache. Sorry. This should be fixed in git now, can you confirm? (It is fixed for me).
