I am just about to give up on running softsqueeze on my work computer
because when cpu approaches 100%, the audio gets really choppy. I know
this isn't specific to softsqueeze - WMP, etc. do the same thing (as an
aside, would love a way to give the media player cpu priority if that's
possible).

Is it possible to turn off the audio processing of softsqueeze? What
I'd like to do is run softsqueeze on my secondary test machine but
since I keep the test machine "locked" I wouldn't see the softsqueeze
there. So I'd like to have a synched "audioless" softsqueeze on my main
computer so I can see the display and control playback. Would be nice to
eliminate any cpu load that's associated with the audio processing and
of course I wouldn't want the speakers to have any output either.

In summary, I want a regular softsqueeze on my test machine, and an
"audioless" softsqueeze on my main machine with the two synchronized.
Both systems are running XP btw. So I want to know if there is a way to
turn off the audio processing in softsqueeze.
