There is no manual IP entry, as this should not be required. The app sends a UDP broadcast packet on port 3483, perhaps you have this blocked? Does Squeezer (free, opensource, android UI) detect your server? *Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools 4.
