Android TV does not include a browser by default, and Chrome/Firefox are not available via Play Store for AndroidTV, so there is no way to use the URL to get directly to the "now playing" page. AndroidTV does include WebView which allows Material apk to launch via remote where I can navigate to "now playing" after numerous right arrow remote button presses. Once I get there many elements work perfectly, here are the ones that don't: - Volume up/down icons highlight, but do nothing when selected via remote. - Song positioning scale highlights with thin gold line surrounding it, but does nothing when selected. Changing song position with this is overkill on TV interface, and adds additional button presses to get to back/play/skip buttons. Other elements such as player selector, settings, and album cover have this same thin gold lined box surrounding them when cursor moves over them with remote, and are fully functional. - Repeat/DSTM, Play/Pause, previous, next icons highlight, but do nothing when selected via remote. Shuffle works. Getting to these buttons with remote is difficult, likely related to song position slider. All of the above works with keyboard. Hoping to get away from that on AndroidTV.
