I finally got the XM plugin to work. I'm playing the SqueezeBox through a Benchmark Dac 1 using the digital/optical S/PDIF output.
It sounds good, better than my Delphi SkyFi with the home adapter connected directly to the pre-amp (there's no S/PDIF out on the SkyFi), not as good as uncompressed WAV files streamed to the SqueezeBox/Benchmark or SACD's played through my Music Hall Maveric but one wouldn't expect it to. Anyway, all was going well until I turned on my second SqueezeBox in the other room. That's when XM went silent on both boxes. I rebooted and unsynchronized the players. XM is working again but only on one player at a time.
